1100 Alloy Aluminum Rectangular Waveguide

For the High Power UHF application in which coaxial transmission line lacks the requisite power handling capability, and at the higher UHF channels where moding can occur, SWR Aluminum rectangular Waveguide will do the job. Four sizes of rectangular waveguide are used to cover channels 14-69.

The information in thos section of the catalog will assist the broadcast engineer in making the proper choice in the system design. If required, SWR engineers will assist in this task. For minimum system VSWR, the length of the waveguide is selected with the particular UHF in mind. A chart is provided showing the lengths required for each channel.

In keeping wiht SWR's high technology standards, we offer our waveguide in the new 1100 series aluminum alloy. This gives the waveguide better RF conductivity and thus greater efficiency in system output. Clearly, this translates into reaching more of an audience for every dollar invested in the system.
