HIGH POWER CLARION WAVEGUID ANTENNA
   

The Clarion UHF slotted waveguid array transmitting antenna is a high-power antenna whose radiation patterns may be tailored to specific coverage requirements.

    The basic antenna element is a slot cut into the wall of a waveguide support structure. Elevation and azimuth patterns are controlled by adjusting the phase and amplitude of the signal radiated by each slot.

    Input to the Clarion antenna can be either coaxial transmission line or waveguide, depending on the individual station requirements. The input power capability is 240 Kw for the omni-directional design and 120 Kw for all other patterns. All designs are capable of input powers that will produce 5,000 Kw ERP.
