Here at SWR we take pride in all the FM antennas that are manufactured in our facility. After our theory and 1/3 scale model testing assure us that design is correct, the full size antennas are made. After being manufactured they are put on carts and wheeled to the testing area where they will be assembled, tuned, and tested. (Below, a FM antenna)

In the next phase of our process, our technicians take the FM antennas outside to be assembled. There they will be hooked up to our testing equipment, and will have the azimith and elevation patterns tested. If antennas do not match the patterns specified by our customer they will be tuned until they do. Antennas do not leave this area until being inspected, from top to bottom, by our engineer. (Below - FM antennas that is set up outside having their patterns tested)

After all the testing is completed, the FM antennas are disassembled and sent back to the manufacturing area to be cleaned and polished. We take a lot of pride not only in how reliable our FM antennas are but also in how they look. We like to send our customers an antenna that will look and work like gold. (Below - FM antenna that is polished and getting ready to be boxed up for shipping.)

The antennas are then sent to our shipping department, where our carpenters will build custom boxes and/or crates for every individual antenna. This prevents damage in the shipping process. After these boxes are made they are packed with Instafoam. This packing molds around the antennas ensuring that they will not move or bounce around during the shipping process. Finally, just as an extra measure, the boxes/crates are wrapped with bubble wrap, and fragile stickers placed all around the boxes/crates. (Here is some of our custom boxes/crates top left- picture inside of the crate, top right- outside of the crate, bottom left - boxes/crates for the vertical poles)
