Durable corrosion resistant construction. The antenna system is fabricated from heavy wall copper and naval brass. All joints are TIG welded.
Pressurized
and grounded. The entire antenna system is pressurized to the feed point of
each bay and each bay is DC grounded. Thus eliminating the need to purchase
a shorting stub.
Beam tilt and / or null fill optional. Custom vertical patterns are available with center fed arrays that have an even number of bays.
Electrical deicers for heavy icing conditions are available.
SWR offers a 2-year limited warranty on defects in material and workmanship to the original purchaser.
- Power gain figure based on midband operation (98.1 MHz.)
- Power rating is based on 40 degrees C. ambient. Derating occurs above 2000 ft.
- Antenna weight, windload and aperture are based on mid-band operation. Mounting brackets not included for weight or windload.
- Antennas with beam tilt and/or null fill require an even number of bays and must be center-fed.
- Antennas with two or more bays come standard with input fine matcher.
- All antennas are supplied with mounting brackets for up to a 4.0 inch diameter leg (uniform cross-section tower).
- For areas where there is heavy icing, optional radomes are available.
- All inputs 4-1/16 EIA standard flange, female.
- Custom mounting brackets and inputs available.
- S.W.R. Inc. maintains a continuous program of product improvement and therefore reserves the right to change specifications without notice.
Options available include: FCC Directionalization, Pattern Measurement Service, Beam tilt and Null fill.
